The SCMUA conducts four Electronic Waste events annually. This program is available to Sussex County residents, local school districts, municipalities and county agencies.
The SCMUA conducts these special events to regulate the disposal of electronics, or “E-Waste” that contain cathode ray tubes (CRT’s), lead, mercury, nickel, cadmium and other hazardous materials, and remove from the waste stream pollutants and toxins that would otherwise find their way into landfill and the leachate generated.  
YOU MAY BRING UP TO 10 ELECTRONIC ITEMS -  FREE OF CHARGE ON THE ABOVE  DATES ONLY.

THESE ITEMS ARE ALSO ACCEPTED AT THE SOLID WASTE FACILITY
