A few of the duties are: Assisting the Chief Weighmaster and Weighmasters with weighing, monitoring and maintaining accurate records via computer on incoming and outgoing vehicles along with quality and types of waste received; ensuring accurate completion of required forms; receiving, handling various forms of payment (invoice, cash, check or credit cards); assist with scales (Main scale, Booth, Recycling Center/Resident Convenience Center); answer customer inquiries; maintenance of immediate work area; other duties as assigned.
A few of the requirements are: good communication skills and ability to deal effectively with the public; data entry skills; and must hold a current New Jersey Weighmaster’s license. Job Grade 6.
Work schedule is 40 hours per week on a weekly alternating schedule: Monday through Friday - Tuesday through Saturday etc.
